End the curse of junk email with this filtering tool for Outlook or Outlook Express
SpamWeed Stops junk messages right at the source, before they make their way into your inbox. It acts as a go-between proxy for your email client such as Outlook Epxress and your POP3 server. If you use Outlook Express, configuration is completely automatic. If not, you can easily configure your mail client using the Mail Client Setup Guide wizard that starts directly after installation. SpamWeed is a local POP3 proxy server, and you'll neeed to change your POP3 server and login name in your email account settings.

SpamWeed classifies your spam for you. If a legitimate email has been classified as spam, moving it to the correct category will ensure that the SpamWeed engine improves with time. SpamWeed also has a whitelist you can add your friends to. The system will add new addresses to this list, which you allow to be delivered to your email clients. Likewise, there's a blacklist, so you can identify specific addresses or domains to block. In the SpamWeed Administrator window, there are three main menu commands: Classifier; and the screen where you read SpamWeed's classification of Spam and Legitimate mails (Whitelist and Blacklist).
When you first start SpamWeed, make sure you go through the lists of spam and legitimate mails that SpamWeed has classified for you. If you find a spam in the non-spam category or vice versa, move it to the right category - make sure you check that the software is working correctly on a regular basis. To retrieve emails from the legitimate mails box to your email client, simply click the receive button in your email client.
